What is a Large Grant?
LARGE PROJECT GRANT proposals are studied by
committee members made up of trustees from the Foundation and educators that cross all age levels but concentrate on subject
matter pertaining to the committee. Once a committee has settled on a project and has completed a rigorous assessment
the committee representative from the Foundation presents the project to the Foundation Board in March moving it to the Projects
Committee to enter the approval process.

What is an Innovation Grant?
An innovation grant is proposed by a District 300 educator
in January and awarded in March for the following school year.
The grant must be unique and never done before
in D300.
The grant must have clear goals and align with State Education Standards.
Project goals must
be measurable.
An innovation grant may
not exceed $1,000. Restrictions may change each year, please see the current grant instructions for
a complete list of guidelines.

What is a Trustee Grant?
Grant requests that fall outside
of the normal grant process timeframe are considered as special requests--Trustee Grants. If additional grant monies
are available after traditional grants have been awarded, Trustee Grants may be considered at any time of year.
