The
Foundation operates independently of District 300 and is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization responsible for the financial
management of its own resources. The Board of Trustees is comprised of teaching, business and community volunteer leaders
working with private and corporate donors to channel resources and develop educational programs and activities not typically
financed by tax dollars.
The Foundation seeks and makes available resources
to enhance learning for all D300 students through classroom grants. We provide grants in the areas of Literacy, Performing
and Fine Arts, Science and Technology and Student Leadership, as well as smaller, innovation grants that could serve as pilot
programs for future Foundation or District 300 expansion.
We are so proud
of the teachers and students for their unique teaching and learning styles as they move together to make learning relevant.
With your help we can continue these efforts.
